Trío Barbarie is...
... an ensemble of tango guitars, formed in the Popular Music School of Avellaneda (Argentina). Understanding that Tango is only one, they seek to interpret a repertoire that ranges compositions from the beginning of the last century to the present day (including own compositions). In addition, admired by the power of the typical orchestra, they look out to translate that energy through the strings pulsed. This search set the arranging mark of this trio, which, together with the adaptations of both classical orchestras and new formations, makes a humble but heartfelt contribution to Rio de la Plata folklore.

PEOPLE SAID

“It has been a long time since I listened to or applauded guitars like those of the“ Trío Barbarie ”which is made up of Kalén Ortiz, Miguel Resa and Miguel Navarro. They have successfully synthesized technique and softness, which few musicians achieve. It’s surprising that despite their youth they show a level of artistic maturity that few can offer us. I congratulate them and I continue to applaud them! Every time stronger!”

Antonio Rodríguez Villar

“One night I went to see them in San Telmo, I listened to them. The three together are a marvel! ”
