Trío Barbarie is...
...a tango guitar ensemble, formed at the Escuela de Música Popular Avellaneda (Argentina). Admired by the power of the typical orchestra, the trio seeks to translate the energy of said formation to plucked strings. With this arranging imprint he has traveled through a varied repertoire throughout his discography. Currently he is constantly producing original works, with the firm conviction of deepening his aesthetics and making a humble but heartfelt contribution to tango.

Bio
The Trío Barbarie was created at the beginning of 2019 by Miguel Navarro, Miguel Resa and Kalén Ortiz. Throughout that year, the trio has presented their repertoire on different stages in Gran Buenos Aires, sharing with important artists of the genre. He has participated in the FACAFF Independent Tango Festival and the Valentín Alsina Tango Festival.
During February 2020, the Barbarie Trio made its first European Tour, taking its music to milongas and concerts throughout France and part of Switzerland. On July 11 of the same year, he officially presented his first album, titled "Voraz". The presentation was held virtually due to the health restrictions imposed by the infamous COVID-19 pandemic.
At the end of 2021, after a long pause due to the pandemic, the trio resumed its activity with a new member: Pablo Cristiani (replacing Miguel Navarro). Since then he has presented two singles: "La yumba" (2022) and "Al lado de tu sueño" (2023).
In 2024 he released his most recent production, an EP titled "Abismo". It deepens the aesthetic proposal that has been developing since its beginnings. Currently the Trio Barbarie is presenting this material.

In June 2024, Trío Barbarie releases an EP titled Abismo. It resumes the proposal to make adaptations of orchestral versions with "Chiru", Astillero's version. In addition, three of their own works are released: "Milonga rebelde", "Abstinencia" and "Bullicio"


In October 2023, the Trío Barbarie releases an instrumental version of the waltz Al lado de tu sueño, a composition by Mariano Heler authored by Alfredo Rubín and Santiago Lapine. This work is added to the trio's repertoire with the desire to contribute original arrangements from contemporary songbooks to the genre.

In October 2022, Trío Barbarie begins to distribute, in single format, an arrangement of its own characteristics of the successful tango La Yumba , by Osvaldo Pugliese. Recorded in March of that year at the CMA Studio (Centro Municipal de Arte), thanks to the call for promotion made by the municipality of Avellaneda, and having great acceptance from its public, the trio incorporates it into their repertoire along with new compositions.

In July 2022, the Barbarie Trio officially presents its first album. Voraz is a testament to the repertoire and aesthetics developed in the trio's first year of career. In it you can hear both adaptations of orchestral versions ("Malena", version by Osvaldo Pugliese's Orquesta Típica; "El Viajero", version by El Cachivache Quinteto; "Pompeya", version by Astillero), as well as arrangements by other composers. past and contemporary. In addition, Voraz includes five of the trio's own compositions ("Se van", "Reyerta", "Hastío", "Desvarío" and "Sed").

GIRAS

During February 2020, the Barbarie Trio made its first European tour. He has performed in numerous milongas and stages, receiving very positive reviews. Due to the pleasant reception from the public, the Trío Barbarie plans upcoming tours in the search of taking their music to new frontiers.
